• Exit 242 off I-25 at Bernalillo. Head West on Hwy 550 about 25 miles to San Ysidro.
• In San Ysidro, turn right (north) onto State Road 4 to Jemez Pueblo/Jemez Springs. Go about 13 miles.
• Directly across Hwy 4 from "Shangri-La West" turn right onto Vista Hermosa Dr.
• Jemez Springs Retreat is about 2 miles up the unpaved, bumpy dirt road in the red-colored Jemez Mountains. Driveway entrance is on the left side.
• Last Gas: Walatowa (Jemez Pueblo) Visitor Center

From Santa Fe Area:

You can use the Albuquerque instructions above, or take a very scenic route by driving north from Santa Fe through Los Alamos, Bandelier National Park, & past the Valles Caldera National Preserve:

• North on Hwy 285 for 15 miles.
• West on Hwy 502 for 12 miles.
• South on Hwy 4 for 50 miles, approx. 6 miles past the town of Jemez Springs
• Directly across Hwy 4 from "Shangri-La West" turn left onto Vista Hermosa Dr.
• Jemez Springs Retreat is about 2 miles up the unpaved and bumpy dirt road, Vista Hermosa Dr. Driveway entrance is on the left side.
• Last Gas: Los Alamos
